What template would be good for a mixed reef? It is LPS dominate but I also have a handful of SPS, derasa clam, 10 BTAs etc... I'm currently running the SPS PHX14. Any suggestions?

I have also have a mixed reef about 50/50 LPS to SPS and assortment of clams, torches and such. I have been using the preset SPS map with turning the red, white, and green way down(around 15) and maxing out the UV/Blue/Royal/LB and all are running at 100%. lights run for 10 hrs with ramp up and downs.
This has been going for about 4 months. All corals area alive but i feel like i could be doing better with lighting. All the softies, torches and some of the SPS are just going crazy but a few of the delicate items just arent where i would like them to be. Anyone that has some real life long time experience with a good map and good results would be appreciated if they could share.

Use AB+ or WWC settings. You can mess around with custom stuff all you want, but in truth, those two options are the answer to almost everyones problem.

Where can I find the wwc template

Here is WWC's Coral Lab report, it's titled flow but it's more than just flow ---> Here <---

It's buried, so I'll just tell you UV/Violet/RB/B are all at 100% and CW/WW/Gr/R at 20%

Thanks. That's what I was originally looking at but the AB+ description only mentioned SPS so I wasn't sure if it would best option for a mixed reef. After reading it more it looks like the AB+ simulates T5 lights. I'll give the AB+ a try

No problem @Corey Baker

And yeah the WWC settings are slightly different from the AB+ settings, the difference being that Cool White, Warm White, Green, and Red are are 20% (which is 4% lower than AB+)

this was an awesome article they wrote up

Radion xr15 G5 Pro settings:
Point Intensity 100%
UV/Violet/Royal/Blue 100%
Green/Red/WW 24%
CW 50%
Schedule 50%

p.s. Waterbox Cube 20; with 16 pieces of SPS; 10 piecs arcans, 2 Dragon Soul Toch, Gold Hammer, few Frogspawn, zoes; all growing great since I've started using the xr15 G5 3 months go. (I used AI Prime HD prior to that with subpar sps growing rate. I might try Reefi Lab's Uno that has 180 max watts if it provides a mouting option that fits my need.)

If Reefi makes easy-to-use, convenient and versatile custom mount adapters for Radion xr15, you will potentially grab thousands of existing users market share. I might be a good example (again if the mounting adapter fits my need).

This is what I mean "easy and convenient" to adapt. All I did was to buy the $10 Radion mount adapter kit, drilled a hole on top and that is it. Reefi has EXCEPTIONAL LED lights according to their specs. All it needs are the "accessory" improvements, like graphical user interface (EXTREMELY important to most nowadays users who get used to Apple beautiful faces and will not go back to the text base, DOS like interface; you get what I mean). GL.

p.s. sorry it was off topic of this thread

Would you pm me with your recomended adapter for my TV wall mount, please. The swivel TV mount may not look great but 100 times more convenient and useful than any fixed mount support when it comes to cleaning, aquascaping, taking straight-down photos, etc. And not to mention it cost less than $50.

But can you get Netflix on it as well !!!

Anyone tried using lps soft program for a mixed reef? I'm running 2 xr15 blue lights over a 3ft tank running lps soft program at 65% I switched from abplus program because it's way too white even with the Blue version of the xr15. The lps soft is better. Not so overwhelming bright. I do need 250+ par at the top and I got that by running the lps soft at 65% but that's 6 inches from the surface of the water on my tallest rock. I have acans on the sand bed I don't want to burn. My tank is full of acans 3 torches and I'm slowly starting to add acropora. Any advice? Does anyone out there have a better program or a modified program that might work better?

this is exactly the answer that I’m looking for I have the same dilemma. I want to run the lps soft but I’m worried about the par not being enough for some easy sps at the top. Did you ever find your answer?

I use the WWC 1500g reef template. It has a nice blue daylight and a long evening blue period, best of both worlds if you ask me. I also saw this tank in person and every coral was healthy and vibrant. I downloaded the template from the wwc site and uploaded it through mobius. https://worldwidecorals.com/pages/led-lighting-presets

Yes I did. It's been a year or so since I've been using the LPS soft program for my mixed reef. So what I did was turn up the whites to 25% turn down the red and green to 10% . So I have 3 xr15 g5 blues over my 3ft red sea reefer 300xl so you might not get the same par readings if you don't have the same amount of raidons I have but I'm getting 350 0ar at the top 250 mid 175 sand bed. I'm running them at 75% overall intensity. Like I said it's been over a year. I've gotten absolutely great results. I couldn't be happier

Wow the tank looks beautiful. I called wwc and spoke to them about their 100g LPs mixed reef template. That’s what I switched to and am running at the moment.. I just switched from some hydra 32’s (which I’m selling btw). I got myself 2 xr15 blue’s over my Reefer 350 which is approx 4 feet long so I’m slowly acclimating them over a 2 week span. But your system is showing great results and I really like the splash of white that it has. Will definitely be trying that out if I want a different look or if my corals don’t like the current settings…

I also want to say thank you for replying after such a long time and showing your settings along with your results. In this hobby there’s so much that we still don’t know and understand and through the hobbyist trial and error we learn more and become more successful in keeping our animals happy.

Happy Reefing
