I've noticed several "NIB XR30 Gen 5\6" lights selling for $700+ with shipping lately. I wanted to jump on one, but something seems a bit peculiar. Just thinking out loud.

Edit: after thinking about it, maybe they are not US versions (i.e., no warranty).

There are some knockoffs of the XR30s. Not saying the ones you're seeing are them, but it does seem suspicious to me as well.

Thanks for that info! As a buyer, I'd request the serial number or a bill of sale prior to purchase. No one is going to take a $250 hit on a brand new light, IMO. Hopefully, I am waaaay off base and all is good.
