I have a 6 month old Waterbox Frag 165.5 mixed reef with 4 Radion XR15 Pros using the AB+ template. I find the template is way too blue for my liking. My corals are mostly easy softies, LPS and some monti caps and seem to be doing ok, but my fish get lost in all the blue. Can anyone suggest a modified set-up to most resemble a natural reef? Keep in mind the Frag is only 16" in depth. I increased the intensity a few weeks back, but the GHA started to take over, and I have now dialed it back down to 35%.

I have the same lights. You can run the AB but just modify the whites a little to get your preferred viewing spectrum. I run mine at 77% schedule. What par do you get at 35?

I have not tested PAR. I am a bit old school, and can gauge by how the coral / tank reacts and adjust accordingly if something goes astray. Historically, if I start to fiddle with things too much, it goes sideway. :) Since it is a shallow tank, the 35% is working. I see new growth on my monti caps and my softies / lps are growing liking weeds.

That is what I did and after 6 months at 33% I went to 34% today so you could say I am taking it slow but I have the par numbers at 32%
