Radion XR15 spread

I have a Red Sea Max500S, I currently have the T5 light fixture above it but i want to get away from it due to heat, power consumption and having to change the bulbs out. I think I have decided on going with the XR15s but I dont know if I need 3 or 2. I have mostly lps and softies. I do have 2 plating montis and 2 birdnest corals but I think they would acclimate just fine. So im wondering if anyone has these and has some helpful info for me. Thank you.

I don't know the dimensions of the 500s, but as a rule I'd say If you don't care about dark corners, go one every 30", otherwise drop to every 24". I had one over a 40b, 36" wide and had shadows in the corners.

Sorry the dimensions are 49x22x21 inches. I wouldn't mind the corners being darker as I dont have any rock work in the corners to help keep the flow up. Thank you.

2 lights each about 12 to 15 inches from the ends will give you a little lower par in the center between the lights and darker corners.

Three will give very even par across the top and light all the way down.

You need 3 XR15s or 2 XR30s

Alright I’ll probably go with three across the top, I’d rather have to turn them down vs not have enough par.
