Hey guys. Been looking into the Red Sea reefers but I've had a new 120 gallon sitting here for awhile. Trying to see if this would be a better option....

Anyway for my question. Will the new G4 Radion XR15s cover a 120 (48x24x24)?

That would be awesome if I didn't have to get the full size for cost. But wanted to check. Says spread is about 24-30" wide and deep. Seems a over hyped on paper though so figured I would ask ?

Sorry .... forgot. Mainly lps. Few sps. Clams and anemones.

Only a very few SPS probably.

I have a XR 15 pro. When I set it up on reef link I think the spread was 24-30. I have a redsea170 myself. U might want to check out the xr30pro for that size or run two Xr15s.

Yea I was definetly gonna get 2 no matter which route I go. Just didn't know if 2 XR15s would be bright and no shadows.

This is mine no shadow except from the overflow that I turned into a Y.

We have 3 gen3 15s over a 300 gallon at work. It's mostly softies and LPS with a touch of SPS right under the lights. So you could do it with 2 15s, you would be limited on placement of the more light demanding livestock.

Is your 300 gallon 8' or 6' ?

Gotcha. So you have 1 per 2' of tank. I know I'm asking a lot lol But .... you don't happen to have a pic do ya ?
