Interested to know what photoperiod people are typically running with their Radions.

  • I start ramping up at 9am, by 10am it's at 40% total intensity, with all channels at 100%
  • This continues until 7pm, where we ramp down until 8pm until we reach 40% total intensity but only on UV, Violet and Royal Blue, which are 100%, all others are zero
  • This continues until 9pm, then we ramp down until 10pm

This means I have 9 hours at peak intensity, 2 hours of "night mode" and ramp up/down of an hour each.
So 13 hours in total.

I run Coral Labs LPS program, which has a similar pattern to the above. It only has blue, violet and UV and UV at 100% during the day, the rest are below 25%.

The lights turn on at 9 and off around 8, with a short ramp up and ramp down. The overall intensity is around 40%. Then a single white LED for moonlight mode until midnight.

Nice, very similar then.
I'm not running any programs, just manual setting, as I'm on the G5 Blue, which is meant to align with AB+.

Hope this post works...good topic. Mine come on early, blues to adding more color and intensity. 4-5 at full, however everything has been lowered to acclimate the tank with the Gen 5’s, and that I added a 2nd XR15.
