Radion XR30 Gen 3

I was recently gifted a Radion Gen2 and Gen3. The previous owner stated the Gen3 would just shut off for no reason.. after taking it apart the fan was PACKED with dust, dead flies and moths. I cleaned it and reassembled it. It powers on and stays on. My question is this. While I have it in programed mode the 3 buttons stay blue, however when I cycle through the colors the orange buttons keep blinking a orange/redish color... the fan is working properly and getting plenty of air. On ecosmart live it shows no error codes... is this normal or is it telling me there is an equipment error?

I am very sure that the blue is normal. I never reall messed with the color cycle so I can't say one way or another on that.

You're right I believe the blue is normal once its programmed. My question was more about the orange flashing lights while im cycling through the colors via the buttons

I did call them... they were no help other than to "send it in"...

So they did trouble shooting with you and could not rectify the problem?

No they didn't try to trouble shoot anything other than switching out a power cord.. im thinking because their older models.. they want me to send in so they can tell me they can't get the parts and then try to sell me on the new light

When you press the buttons you are essentially taking it off its programmed schedule and yes the light changes from blue to blinking orange, its normal

It's a light that is 8 years old. They probably don't want to spend any resources without knowing it's serious enough that the OP is willing to spend on it.

Mine does the same thing. I think it's normal.
