Radion XR30 mounting help

My incredible wife bought me 3 Radion XR30s for my 150gal tank. The only problem I'm running into is I have a canopy, the bottom of the lid is only 7 inches from the water line. Can I run them at 7 inches on a lower setting? I'm keeping a simple mixed reef for now.

Yeah, you just won’t have as much spread (mine only sit 8” off the water with the RMS mount). You’ll have to play around with the intensities depending on your rockscape, type of corals, etc. (a PAR meter is really handy) The Radion diffuser may help a bit. Better take that one shoe shopping!
