Setting up a new waterbox 70.2. It’s 24x24x24. I already own a xr30 gen 4. I have the oportunity to purchase two ai prime HD’s for much less than i can sell that gen 4, so I’d make money...are the ai prime HD’s worth it? I figure i need two for coverage, but not sure about their depth coverage and spectrum for a mixed reef in this tank

I have 2 Ai primes on a reefer 170. Little smaller than your set up but it should work good. Usually two is better than 1 to help with shadowing. Either that or get another xr30. I run AB+ at a 43% reduction and even my clam on the sand is happy.

The xr30 is 2 pucks.
I would keep the radion as it's a gen 4 and all the light you need.

I love the gen 4 ...This reason i was compemplating this was bc waterbox has a glass overflow, with glass cover. I order for me centermount the xr30 i have to remove the glass cover and can’t put it back on since the mounting bracket will be in the way. The ai i could mount on either side of the overflow and keep the cover. I’m def leaning towards the xr30. I want to find someone who does 3D printing or acrylics to make a cover that would have the mount notched out.
