I am planning to have 3 radions xr30 G2 install inside a canopy for my 125G tank. How far above the water line should be efficient for SPS and LPS. It is a mixed tank. Also, anyone has experience with the XR30 mount inside the canopy. Would the water vapor get into the unit and destroy it. I had bad experience with the AI Hydra-52 inside the canopy, got bad salt creep and destroyed all 3 of my units.
Any suggestion is appreciated!!!

I think the general height is 8-10" above the water.

Even though these are LED's, they do get hot and have fans on them that kick on quite frequently when the light is running. I would be sure that your canopy is well ventilated to help keep the lights operating correctly, and also to help keep the salt creep (moisture) down. The top of the lights are open (for cooling), so an enclosed area would have problems. The bottoms of the lights are basically enclosed, so they are protected from direct splashing.
