Yes I’m retiring from the hobby and have these for sale.
Radions 5x gen 2 pro with upgraded gen 3 pros pucks in there.
These lights haven’t been running for less than a year as they were my backup lights.
Lights are still over the tank but will remove them tomorrow to put them in their original boxes.
Will separate for $330 each.

WHAAAAAAAAT? Retiring? But, but why?

Diesel, that's pretty awesome of you. I've followed your tank build and progression for awhile and have always been impressed with your attention to detail. And the fact that your wanting to donate these light to fellow reefers is what makes this hobby into an awesome community to be apart of. Sorry to hear your getting out of the hobby but I'm sure well keep holding that you get the itch again later down the road and jump back in. LOL.
If Mini Coop or Katrina71 don't end up taking the lights I'm setting up my 180g and am looking to buy a few radions fixture to hang over it. Let me know brotha, and hope to hear you get back in the hobby someday.

Vince.

Sorry to hear that you are getting out. This hobby, as you already know, has some great ups and terrible downs. But from what I hear, the hobby is losing a great person. Hope you come back.

No more ick for me.
When I look back I look at 47 awesome years.
When I look a head I don’t see another 47 years.

I know them all but never was disappointed on the downs as we learn from it.
The thing is that you never catch up in this hobby, never!
That come back won’t be in this life.

I know the struggle man. I'm active duty and on everyone of my deployments my tank has completely crashed and I lost everything.

First of, thank you for your service to the country and give us freedom.
Secondly, yes that is a struggle.
How is the tank doing now.

Thank you. I've been in since 2007 and have been stationed all over the world so I think I've had it pretty good so far.
Tanks moving along slowly but surely. You guys think teachers get paid like crap, check out a Sailors pay stub. LOL
I welded up the stand and got it back from powder coating a few weeks ago. Had a lot of left over rock from previous tanks and will be finalizing the aquascaping this week. will be looking to buy 2-3 radions soon and get the canopy built after that. Ill throw up some pictures tonight.

See your a bow hunter. I haven't been able to get home to Michigan for a season since I've been in but still take my Mathews Z7 out to the range every now and then to keep the touch going. You see anything good this season so far?

Seen plenty but didn’t shot one yet, the sticks we let get more mature.
Did had a 6 year 10p walking up to me but I wasn’t ready.
Just 3 min in my blind and didn’t want to freak him.
So I just sat and watch him from 20y, he had no clue I was there but if I made the bow arrow ready he would have that sense something was up, so I didn’t.

@Diesel - I am so sad to see you leave the hobby. You know that you have taught me so very much. Your tank and your knowledge have been inspiring! I am so grateful to have met you here on Reef 2 Reef, and am grateful to keep you as an incredible friend. I am truly blessed to know you. Your generosity to others in this hobby just shows how amazing of a person you really are. I can't thank you enough for the lights. I promise to carry on and grow an amazing tank, hopefully as beautiful as the Diesel tank one of these days!! One day I will be able to pay it all forward! :)
