Lol The wife thinks it’s hilaious when I’m working in tank and clown charges me. She thinks it’s funnier that he leaves her hand alone......... Not sure how she trained him to do that trick
Thanks about the tank got a long way to go but happy with the slow progress I’m seeing. Your tank and others inspire me to what’s possible.

Anyone know what this coral is? I got some corals from the online sale a few were canceled an$ this one doesn’t look like anything I was looking at. I know it looks rough but believe it or not it’s bouncing back from my ph salinity crash with some trial and error placemenr under my lights

If I was on a two step recovery program I would be half cured. I have a flow obsession. There I said it! I feel somewhat liberated now. I’ve had a couple areas still getting a little algae so have been tweaking my flow and it has helped but the wife’s anemone is not amused at all and therefore the wife is not amused.....
The LTA has never retracted in anger but is moving all over to find that perfect spot I ruined and is currently back in his cave half days. I know he’ll get back out full time hopefully in the front till then but I’m trying to finalize rock changes and get my gyre in place today so once he plants again it will be permanent. Here’s FTS of rock work changes I think I’m good ......... any critiques welcome

Finally got a pic of our Molly Miller Blenny Lenny and of the Rock Flower. The rock flower has some nice color during day but it’s flourescence at night is wild

My tank is rocking today! Came home from a bad day at work and spent some time staring at my slice of the ocean and feel much calmer. I changed over last night to all Red Sea additives. The coral supplement a@b have really brought corals back from the edge after the great salinity /alkalinity crash of 2018
Just started dosing recently ( after crash ) for alkalinity and am now graphing out usage of key element depletion as they are needed now as well.
I hope to have a daily or at least weekly usage to ensure I keep tank dosed and growing like it is right now.

Sorry if I’m postin to much and drivin anyone following nuts with alerts but needed to post a pic. Wife got a cucumber free as a door prize three months ago and he just showed back up! Kinda freaked me out when I saw em didnt know what it was at first lol

Still no idea on this coral tho it has continued to improve with some polyps on stalks now. Anyone a clue?

Hiya folks, Went to Fragtoberfest in Cromwell Ct sponsored by CTARS yesterday and the wife had a ball. She grabbed a couple more pieces for the tank and they have opened up nicely. Coloration coming out pretty well but my camera skills not quite enough to capture em all. Couple shots of eye candy for what it’s worth

Hidee ho salt lovers. Found a minor boo boo that explains the anemones attitude. Wife is in charge of feeding the fish like her better lol. Found that she had slipped on the pause button for the wave maker on anemones side and it was cranked to max hence I think the partial caveman like existence.
Other than that very minor algae growth in couple spots on sand some greenery on spots of rock. Picked up some more cleanup crew for the rocks and proudly no other livestock. Putting the breaks on and concentrating on water stability test test test.

Well the tank is cooking away first sea life casualty is rotting away. I went for 1 Jumbo Shrimp figure everything else that goes in is gonna cost so might as well go top shelf with the starter ;-)

Turns out practicing the scape and taking photos rock by rock if em going together to recreate wasn't needed as we tweaked as it went into the tank. I never took into account the overflow so we shifted a bit.
Water is still cloudy as I didn't put enough sand in for my bosses liking so dropped another bag but clear enough for general idea.

Im digging the rock scape, Once filled up with corals will look beatiful and full.

good to hear. With how awesome your tank is looking being anywhere in ball park feels good and confirms Im on right track
