Hi reefers Hope you all had a nice Sunday. The wife and I took a little Sunday drive (45 minutes) down to Aquatic Wildlfe in Ct. Thanks to @RichtheReefer21 for the recommendation. Came so close to joining the Midas Blenny club they had a couple beautiful specimens on hand. Nice store with a varied choice of livestock. Coral choices had a few nice pieces and looks like they are ramping up in that dept.
and now a few pics of the tank starting yellow Acro from 8 days ago and this afternoon under lax light period then pic of the magic zoas that came outta nowhere near some GSP
Don’t know what kind these are but nice surprise seeing them multiply outta the blue
Almost full coloration to the tips really liking the splash of yellow in the tank

Lol I heard that from my wife the whole ride homeA Midas would have given you a splash of yellow.Just saying.
I think one is in the future for the tank. I dare not show her your tank I’d be in deeper then

Alas been dropping requiring dail dosing mag and calcium also moving down slow good problems to have, loving the yellow acropora it really stands out from across the room

Scared. Got a CBB rescue going on and hoping he’ll be ok, so far the little sucker has a huge pair standing off against the one spot who is about 6 times his size, seem the new guy like foxes spot in the arch, will see how they settle in, I thought if there would be a problem it woulda been the maroon go figure,,,
Edit : Well been an hour and CBB has stood his ground spunky little sucker and he’s eating good signs so far

@Katrina71 So far so good He settled in found his own space and all are playing nicely this am. Feeding time ina little bit will see if hes still taking food soon

Well CBB is taking frozen and swimming with the group. Niw if I could just get the group to use whole tank not just corner by anemone..... Wierd they swim on right sleep on left and mid tank......

Hello my salt side family once removed by the internet.
So CBB Charlie Brown my wife thinks he is eating frozen out of water column but to be sure did some reading and a busted shell clam is recommended. So bought a few clams gave one a whack into the tank and I now no how to get a count on cleaning crew...... Sweet mother they were trucking in from all over along with Our Molly Miller blenny (killer Lenny). CBB took a couple passes but nada yetIve backed away from tank as he is still skittish when someone’s at the glass.

In other news hope this a good sign on yellow Acro polyps? Doesn’t blow off so hopefully not algae or something bad but doesn’t look fully like pics of polyp extension which seem more flowery on end

Well alrighty then. Got a soft brush on the Acro didn’t see anything flow away or stuck in brush. If it’s brown algae it’s only on that one piece and nowhere else in tank. I do have a few small patches of green hair algae but nothing like on the one Acro. Either way I ticked it off will see what returns the flow is rocking across the Acro shelf nothing should hold on there unless glued down .
In any case turned the lights down a notch as red Acro has a cpl small white spits on tip,that were not there yesterday. I had lights in high gear fast growth program but now back to my custom program that caps at 80%. Stay tuned in Adventure Acro 2019

Positives he’s swimming all over sticking his nose into every cranny on every rock and getting on find With tank mates. I’ll feel better at our chances when I see and confirm eating Mysis or brine.

I mentioned elsewhere, but I will add here, it does not look like polyps, but I am totally new to SPS. Perhaps this species has a more stringy protrusion. That said, it does look more like a nuisance algae of some sort.
