Good morning R2R and how the heck are ya all today? I was pretty happy got my new uv bulb in for the sterilizer. I put it in and tested before putting it back in sump area and had an electrifying experience! Unseen damage at power cords entry to end cap it seems
Grrr bulb was cheap 11 bucks. replacement gasket kit was double the bulb cost 23 bucks now with needing a new end cap ballast around 60 almost the cost of a brand new unit. Gotta think on this one see which way I want to go. Prolly better getting whole new one

OMG, I an glad you are ok but dang, maybe better to try new UVC unit and ask a refund on that zapping thing.

New to me only it’s the old style 6x turbo twist was part of my Craig’s list find with tank just never used it. Can’t really complain it was essentially free. 300 bucks tank stand old sump skimmer rocks etc.
just a small bump in the road should know better than to think I’d get that lucky

57 in a few weeks, being the responsible adult phase killed me lol, my little hippy chick daughter, 22, loves my little puddle of salt and always spots new additions when she pops around! !
