I’m a leaf on the wind watch me soar
Evening boys and girls guys and gals. Another view from the couch. Not much action but I’ve come to love the fading lights fish for most part in their nooks except for FF who is something of a night owl getting his laps till the last light goes out.
We are finding that the new lights have rendered the window film unacceptable can see the cords in back now. Thinking on options a zero Vic paint or sticking craft paper to the film layer. Thoughts on best way to darken the glass up to rehire the cords?

Depending how much room is behind the tank, I believe the better option would be getting a long-stemmed skinny roller and painting it. I could see craft paper getting wet, creating a mess and having to be replaced.

Depending how much room is behind the tank, I believe the better option would be getting a long-stemmed skinny roller and painting it. I could see craft paper getting wet, creating a mess and having to be replaced.
I used something like this and it worked very well. There’s also some that you can attach to a pole to make it six feet long

On tap 25 gal WC pull and clean skimmer, gyres, socks, and the dual reactor. Last thing will be painting the back glass picked up low Vic matte black paint.

Happy Saturday! Completed WC and equipment cleaning yesterday today did a little wiping down in sump cleaning out some gunk. Sanford our pincushion was banished to the sump cpl days ago and he seems happy enough now.
