More pics when I get home

Thank You. If I can ever get done with these darn Cyno blooms, it would be great. Reefing on a budget isnt easy, but can be done.

Welcome to the budget reefer's club. I am a member as well ;) Your tank has less Cyano than mine does at the moment...

Looks nice for sure. Let me know when those blastos grow out enough to frag ;) See you Sunday with some more coral additions!

It has less cyno than it had had in months. Reduced feedings work to an extent, but I am feeding coral frenzy every other day to get the blastos and acans growing.

Loaded up and growing, full of corals from R2R members Ragamuffin, CDNESS, Unique Corals, and Anemones clowns and corals in Washburn IA

Had a rockslide in the tank and had to rework the aquascape. New look gives more room for my precious Acans. Looking at adding a Acan Hille and some micromussa, if funding allows, to go with my acan enchinata, and my new acan lord. Adding a diamond goby too, since my snails are lazy and dont clean the sand very well.

Also got some progress with the cyano. Started biopellets, running a 1/4 cup pellets in a JNS alpha 2 reactor, Phosphate dropped from .35 to .09, nitrate down to 10.

I added some more livestock, Acan Hillae, some pink eye micromussa, and some more acans. Added some Zoos for flavor as well

Also updated my spreadsheet for my build. So far I am $1.044.88 into the system in actual components and equipment, and that includes buying a new Apex Lite system to control it all, and a titanium Heater, and upgrading to a Mag 7 return pump, and new 3/4 locline

I have 11 fish now, 3 chromis, a Blue Hippo, Golden Rabbitfish, Flame Angel, Royal Gramma, Mandarin, Pair of Misbar Mocha clowns, and a yellow head sleeper goby, 4 shrimp, too many hermits and snails to count.
59 seperate specamins of coral. Not heads, seperate corals.
And thanks to working in a coral shop part time, and a great local club I am only $415 invested into fish and livestock.

Now if I can just figure out this darn apex, I would be a whole lot happier

Ok so the Apex is online and doing its thing. Programming is still a PITA, but getting better. I have a Frag rack and the Jebao twin controller and a pair of WP10 on their way, going to pull the 800s out, and try Jebao. Since I added the goby, he has started doing his job (took a week and a half) but seems to love burying my frags. He scoops up a mouthful and hovers right over my frags on the sand, and buries them,. Hopefully the rack will save my Acan and a few zoa from him.

17 days since I sent the apex screen in for repair, still havent recieved it back, and now the PH probe is going whacky. I am starting to think controllers are more trouble than they are worth.
