Just wanted to show off an acan I bought when I was in CA back in December, enjoy.

Thanks,

Very nice, would like to see a pic of it all puffed up though... Is that dead skeleton? Mind sharing which LFS you got it from?

Yes I would like to see an updated picture. It appears to be a portion from a wild colony. Many times the wild specimens will change color after a few months under captive lights. I'm always interested in seeing how and if they change. Sure is an amazing piece thanks for sharing with us.

good luck

Yes there is some dead skeleton on the back of the piece. When I shipped it home my ORA Miami Orchid colony had fallen on top of it. And I lost 2 of the original 4 eyes. But I moved it position and I try and feed it once a week.

I am not a good photographer but there are a few at my local club and I've been contact with them to get some good pics.

And as for the store. Did not know if this was allowed or not. But it is Kalypso Aquatics in Lodi, California. Great store the owner is very nice and helpful.

As for frags. I'm wanting the colony to grow a little more but then I'd be happy to do trades or just sell.

Well I thought I would report back on how the acan was doing. And I have to say quite well. Here is a photo a local reefer just took this evening.

I moved it down into my frag tank. This photo was taken under ATI T-5's.

Hope you enjoy,
