Last saturday I purchased a RB Anemone, 4" diameter. Today the tentacles are just laying out flat like its dead?? foot still attached to the rock. When i picked it up at the guys house he said he tried to get it off the rock with his finger, but could not get it off the rock. So i told him to hold the rock and anemone in front of the power-head, well it would not release , so i purchased the rock also. Got it home after acclimation and it looks great. The other evening it came off the rock and was in the sand below. So i picked it up and moved it to the right side of my 160 DT. I did not want it to get into my LTA on the left front side. It stayed put. this morning it moved down into the bottom between the rocks. NOW its attached but looks like the tentacles are flaccid and dead looking??? How can I tell if its dying?? I know if it starts to smell or the tentacles start to deteriorate its dying. OPINIONS from Anemone Keepers. PLEASE PS I wonder if that guy tore the foot saturday and its now affecting it? or is it starting to split process?
