Title says it all, can I put a bta in a 5 gallon?

BTAs need really stable parameters and low nitrates, so unless you're really experienced, it likely won't thrive. You could use corals like frogspawns, torches, and toadstools to "simulate" an anemone, though.

I have it running through my same sump as my 90 gallon. I have a bta in that tank.

Any other livestock suggestions?

If the two tanks are connected, then yes you can keep one. It's all about stability when it comes to chemistry. You'd also need to make sure that you have the right light but otherwise you're fine if the 5 gallon is plumbed into the 90 gallon.

There aren't many fish that would be happy in a 5 gallon. Perhaps you could do a porcelain crab or some sexy shrimp.
