My rainbow BTA just split and i was wondering what a fair price is for them these days?

A bit subjective. I'd say $30-80 is a fair range, but there are many factors including health, color and size.

Depends on the market too.... here in the dc area it’s between 30-45 for a regular rbta.

I agree that it depends on the market. Where I live the market is saturated so the price typically hovers around $50.
