Hello,
First anemone for me. Bought a rainbow bubble tip from the LFS. Added him to the tank last night. From the store he came stuck on a piece of rock from their tank. I floated the bag for 30 minutes in my sump and then drip acclimated for 30 minutes. He then went on sand at the bottom of my rockwork. An hour later, he started walking over to the rockwork. I turned the flow down to 30% for the night. This morning all flow pumps were back to normal and the light cycle started at 9am. The RBTA is low on the rock in a shadow. Should I be concerned he is not getting enough light? Or trust he will find what he likes?

I was amazed how fast and far he walked last night.

Added a rose BTA recently. Placed him in what I thought was a good spot, wedged between multiple rocks 1/2 way up the tank. It decided that I was wrong. It moved down the crevice and was basically upside-down where you could only see it if you sat below the tank and looked straight up and then and only then could you spot a few tentacles.

A week goes by and it's back to the exact spot I put in the first place, right-side up. I feel vindicated.

Btw, it moved again more towards the back of the tank. Same rock formation but the other side. It’s like Goldilocks.
