Wondering where the crazy for rainbow chalices went? Used to be super crazy but seems to have taken a halt. Or maybe it’s just me.

Goniopora seems to be the next big thing right now. Chalices are still big with collectors.

I’m crazy for chalice!!! Wish I could afford all the nice colors... Pink Bobies is my top dollar one right now...
Yes, chalice can get pretty expensive but I’d say overall price has dropped. Noticed everything cycles in this hobby. Shrooms, then Zoas, then torches/hammers, then back to shrooms. My crazy for the long haul is sps mostly all tennis and millipora

Overall, yes I have noticed a pretty significant decrease. However, the price is still too high for me to afford it. It's much easier for me to save up for 1 p of an expensive zoa vs a sliver of a very nice chalice because chalice tend to be quite picky picky when it comes to params, lighting, etc and zoas are comparatively easier and faster growing. Since I have a very good ROI with zoas, its easier for me to afford them since I can turn around and sell the babies within a few months whereas it takes me much longer to create frags of chalice not to mention that chalice are a pain in the butt to frag. I wholly agree with you that prices are not as high as they used to be, but it's still not as affordable as I need it to be, to be affordable for me. So far, the only ones I have found to be achievable for me are mummy eye, pink boo, and miami hurricane. I will continue waiting for prices to drop, and maybe reach out to some hobbyists about frags, so that they will be cheaper

Have you tried feeding them. Mine love to feed. I feed them only because I think the reaction is cool lol.
I've definitely fed them while I've had them. Also tried placement all over the tank. Can't do anything to make them happy! I'll try again in the future some day.

Here's a few nice rainbow chalices we've got at the farm. Which one is your favorite?
#1 TCF Wild Blue Chalice
#2 TCF Orange Splash Chalice
#3 GSC Gushers Chalice
