Hi All,

Shortly after I set up my tank I started to notice that the front panel has some rainbow discoloration that resembles a puddle of oil or gas on a driveway (the best way I can describe it). I can't get a picture of it really because it needs a perfect angle to see it and the effect disappears on camera. The attached picture is an example similar to what I'm experiencing.

It doesn't come off with cleaning and seems in be in the glass itself. The tank is a Seapora Rimless 75g Reef Ready. Is there anyway to remedy this outside of a new tank?

Thanks!

Sounds like some oxidation of the glass. You might try some really high grit lapping film (3000 or higher = 6 micron or smaller) with water and gently buff it. Emphaisis on gently since it's setup.
