Rainbow Mushroom Shrinks overnight

My rainbow shrinks only during lights off, but fully extends when they come on. I haven’t heard of this being the norm so I suspect either nutrients or high flow. Normal or not?
Picture I attached is from vendor which it still looks closely the same.

Totally normal, my bounce go from 4 inches in the light to almost an inch at night
