Anyone else remember when there was just rbta and gbta?[/QUOTE]

Pepperidge farm remembers.

A 'rainbow' is any nem that has multiple colors including (but not limited to) green, red, pink, blue, etc. Bicolors and tricolors can also be rainbows. Then people got really goofy and started naming variants of the rainbow - watermelon, sunset, sunrise, jolly rancher, Colorado something or other, Darth maul, blah blah blah blah...... Its gotten way out of hand. At the end of the day, they are all e. Quadricolor no matter what anyone calls them.

agreed! almost every bta is a rainbow thats why they are named Quadricolor.
vho t5 and led lighting along with water conditions will change the color of anything that you put in your tank! someone locally bought an "inferno" from a well known vendor 2 months later onder mh lighting it looks just like a normal rbta. the problem now is if they sell a clone it is going to be called an "inferno" and show up just a redish orange

here is a pic of the "rbta" I picked up a couple weeks ago. it showes green, red, orange, yellow, with white sprckles all over it. when ppl look at it it is called a lol rbta because thats what I bought it as, but if someone wants to buy it.... hmmmm..... maybe I call it toxic sunshine and sell for $900 per clone

Sold as rainbow nem. Disk is green, tentacles change from green to red, tips are purple/pink. Subtle color on the tips. Wish he was out of the rock so the disk was visible....

Nice nem! Do you have a photo with more whites?

That's about as white as I can get it with the iPhone. I don't run my lights that white though, it looks better with a little blue :) I picked this up from a fellow reef keeping friend. Good luck on your quest...

Oh this is better... It shows from disc to tentacle tips. A little too blue but a better angle to see how the colors blend together...

Hey thanks, all the credit goes to my fellow reefkeeper Mike. He has split off 5 of these I believe now, and they are beauties.

Yes very nice nem. Seems like it all depends on who's selling them.
Thanks every1 who uploaded!

Change your lighting and you can come up with some crazy colors
The Colorado sunburst is a example with poor lighting its a mellow yellow
