Rainbow Tip Torch?

Was searching for a higher end torch and found this colony of what the seller calls rainbow tip torch. I can’t find this anywhere is the photo super doctored or something or is it actually a rare piece? The torch looks angry in the picture and I also asked for more pics to see.

I’ve seen some torches with multi-colored tips. Most have a purplish base color and the tips appear to have hues of yellow, orange and/or blue. Not sure how rare they are versus demand. Could be more of piece that sellers use in-store versus online

IME- I doubt that torch, along with most multi-color tipped, will not have that drastic of a difference in most tanks. Not without similar light settings as this was photographed under. That finger looks mighty purple on my screen.

I’d ask for a photo in a different lighting condition, closer to the spectrum you use, to see how noticeable it’s is.

Don’t get me wrong it’s not a bad looking piece, but you will need a certain set of conditions for the tips to really show up well.

Ehh, if they are truly multicolor under whiter light then that’d be up to you. I wouldn’t consider buying at that price without more pictures.
After looking a bit more I bet most of these are sold as “yellow tip black torch” the yellow is likely showing up as orange or blue due to the different angle of the yellow tip in relation to the light- from straight on looking at the end of the tip would appear yellowish color, looking at more of side angle of the tip would appear orangeish, and looking at the tip from the bottom (where tip meets tentacles) would appear the blue/purply color— especially considering the most color contrast is under heavy blues the base tip is likely appearing bluish.
275 sounds high to me, unless you can see distinctly different colored tips under much whiter lighting than the photo.

I haven't seen any torches that are from aussie/indo that have different color tips, not sure if it due to it being immature or the light setting. I would ask for the mother colony but 275 is around dragon soul/ny nicks prices which has 3-4 distinct colors.

Do you like the torch? Do you think it’s worth $275/head? If not offer $100 for a head. What’s he going to do say no? That’s how you determine what it’s worth.
