Hi all

I have seen many videos on drill to the out side running a air line to bring in fresh air grrat idea wife says no way
Now my tank is on second floor but in my basement i already have out side access due to central but am afriad its to far for the skimmer to pull the air
Any tips or ideas
My ph runs 7.6 no matter what i do drip kalk i have added air stones want to try the fresh air but no way i can drill a hole by the tank

Before putting a hole and running a line, can you open the window in that room and see if it helps?

An air pump that can match or exceed the skimmer intake can be used to pump air from a distance.

A CO2 scrubber on the skimmer intake will raise pH, but can be costly long term.

Is limewater/kalkwasser the only calcium and alkalinity supplement you use?

I also use the bsr cal.alk .mag no window by skimmer
Its a reefocto 12 inch skimmer

I did open a window in the living room it did go up to 7.62 but kids said it was to cold as soon as i closed it dropped down to 7.58
