Raised Bottom Aquarium

Has anyone ever heard of this? A guy is offering me some 40 breeders and he said they were custom made, rimless, with a raised Bottom and the bottom is double thick?

Having a false/raised bottom is common in the terrarium world, but have never heard of it in fish keeping.

I'd ask for pictures, then post them here.

It could be something like an eggcrate grid for a frag tank, which is technically a "raised bottom."

Or maybe the bottom layer is twice as thick acrylic?
