Currently using BRS 2-Part and just started using it about a week ago. I’ve used it in the past and it worked fantastic for me and pretty cost effective as well. I took a screenshot of my alkalinity readings as of recently and I have been adding a little bit based off their calculator and I know they had insight based off @Randy Holmes-Farley for their 2-part and calculator. My calcium has been stable once I raised it a few days ago and is currently sitting at 440ppm which is ideal for me. My alkalinity although I’ve been just adding about 10ml daily for the past couple of days seems to want to stay the same around that 6.8-6.9dKH mark. I don’t want to increase my alkalinity too rapidly but I want to ideally get to that 8dKH mark. I have some more coral coming in the next week so I’d like to have it more to their requirements. My question would be how much do you guys think I could increase it by how quickly. Thank you.

I've done 1.4 dkh in one dose. If you look at the calculator it says not to exceed 1.4.

If making a large adjustment (more than 1.4 dKH) divide the dose up and add to the tank over the course of 1-2 days to avoid dramatic changes in water chemistry.

I have a mature SPS tank that’s mostly acros. My alkalinity target is about 8.5.

If I tested 6.8, I would up my 2 part dosing by 1 or 2 ml a day and get it trending up. No rush.

Noted. And I did glimpse over that dividing to extend the course. Just wanted to make sure. Thank you.

60 gallon. IM SR60
So to give you an idea for my tank, a 110 gallon system, it takes 110 ml to raise 1.4 dkh. My tank uses .7 dkh per day so 55ml per day

I’ll possibly have to dose 10-20ml a day to keep it stable but I also don’t have very many coral in there currently.
