i posted this in the fish breeding section but wanted more eyes on it.
So I noticed that my 2 cardinals were acting weird today. They have been hanging together all day and they don't normally do that. Fast forward to tonight's feeding and I saw one of the pair not eating. When I looked harder at that particular one I noticed his was holding his mouth different. Then it hit me I do think he is holding babies in his mouth. I know they are mouth breeders. What do y'all think? Are they hard to raise?

I have a pair that bread on a regular basis. The babies are pretty small when they are released by the mail. I have seen a couple of babies in the tank over the last couple of years. I did have one that found a good hiding spot and survived. Unfortunately I lost him during a move, but he had become a member of the community.
