I've been tryin to raise brine for a while now. First they kept dying. then when I realized I was keeping the container too clean, they finally grew. Now I have a different problem.
They were bunching up and getting stuck together by what looked to be debris. So I would break them up every day in the am and in the night. Today I was doing this when I noticed the free swimming ones were trailing long strands. Not sure why or if it is normal. But this must be what is holding the groups together. Does anyone know if this is normal and what it is or why they do it?

hmm.. safety in numbers? Reproduction? Having a party?

So completely normal lol. A good sign you are doing things right.

What about them sticking together in clumps? Also those are some really long poops at five or six times the length of the shrimp lol
