Raising my Mag

Its been busy this fall and I let my mag drop to 500, everything in the tank looks ok,nothing is growing very well.I have the brs two part mag but I'm not sure how to spread out the doses or how much to dose per day.There is probably about 28 gal of water in the system,any advice would be great

I have serious doubts that your magnesium is really 500. Add enough to raise it 100 per day but test again after the first dose.

Agreed, I think I'd get a second opinion on the test first.

Definitely not 500 ppm.

What kit are you using?

Seachem, I retested and it came back at 750

Still not accurate. Magnesium is never that low.

Try the kit on some new salt water.

Thats kinda what I was thinking Randy,I have a batch mixing now.Thank you guys for all the input
