I have 4 Gen 4 XR-15 pros over my tank at 65% using AB+. They were dialed in with a par meter about a year ago. I’ve since changed my rock scape and added a mesh lid, and over the past few months corals have been taking a downward trend, especially all sps, and couldn’t figure it out.

I’ve sent in an Triton ICP and came back good. Dialed my pumps a little better. Monitor Alk with a Hanna almost daily. No better.

I just received another par meter rental, and my sps were at 250-350 are now at 150-250. The lps/zoa areas were at 75-200 are now 30-150. Hopefully this is my problem

Long story short, I need to raise those number slowly into range that I will determine with the new par meter.

Is there an acclimation mode for Radions while using it with an Apex? I don’t see an option. What percentage would be safe to raise by? Attached pic is my current schedule.

I don't believe there is an acclimation mode on the APEX. You would have to manually bump up your % every day/week until you get to the range you want.

How tightly woven is the mesh on the lid? I did a diy screen mesh lid and it shaded my tank obviously lowering the par too. How long have they been under the lower par? If it hasn’t been long I’d just bump it up until the par is relatively back to where it was and monitor the corals to make sure they’re not getting burnt

It’s been several months now and that’s when the sps seemed to go down hill. I think the mesh is 1/4”. I stupidly did not really think it would affect the par that much and couldn’t figure out what was going on hence me testing a lot and icp. I basically rented the par meter again out of desperation and that’s what I found. Hopefully the issue.

With that, maybe bump up 1-2% per week?

Bumping up will all depending on the coral.
Bump between 1-3 % then observe your corals for a couple of days or up to a week. If no adverse affects are noticed, rinse and repeat process.
