I have had my tank (~100 gal) up for ~6 months, and have recently added a few more SPS & LPS corals to the mix.

Have been keeping my Alk around 7-7.5 (using Red Sea Blue Bucket salt), but noticed it dip to 6.8 when I tested yesterday.
So I added in some Seachem Reef Fusion 2 to raise the Alk

Tested today to see the Alk raised back to 7.1, but also surprised at what my Calcium increase to 525:

Using the Hanna Instrument test kits for both measurements.

Is dosing the Reef Fusion to raise my Alk going to also have an impact on my Calcium?
Can I continue to dose over the coming days/weeks to bring it up closer to 8?
Not quite sure what/why my Calcium numbers are going up...

It didn't seem to go up by much. 505 one day then 525 the next. In the big scheme of things that's not much.

Watch for a trend would be my suggestion.
