I have a raja rampage chalice I'm considering making a few frags from. What would be a fair price to list a couple of 3/4" pieces for? The prices I see online from vendors seem to range from $100 to $200 for a 1/2" - 3/4" piece. Seems high to me, but don't know what would be a fair price from a hobbyist. TIA

More like $25-$40 in our market, especially since majority of the Pittsburgh people already have frags of it.

Thanks! that seems like a much more reasonable number to me. I actually just made a couple frags of it over the weekend. My first time fragging a chalice. Felt like it went okay, but they aren't healing as easily as most other coral I frag. Will have to wait and see how they recover.

I don't. I used a dremal with a diamond cutting wheel. I cut the chalice from the bottom side in a straight cut avoiding the mouths of the chalice. 24 hours later, I looked at the frags and it seems the tissue is receding from the edges. Will see if they look worse today after work.

I’ve seen a few healed frags from various online vendors for well under $100.

I see them locally to me for $35-$60 depending on size.
