I was reading the directions for using this medication and I’m wondering what I do after I’ve treated the tank ? Do I just do a regular water change once I’ve added the last dose ?

Probably need to add carbon afterwards also since Rally tints the water.

It says to add X amount every other day for three days, so after the third day should I do a normal 10-20% water change add carbon and continue with the quarantine ?

What are you treating these fish for?

Are you treating your display tank, or are these fish in a QT tank?

I didn't have any luck with Rally in my display tank.... I ended up having to catch all my fish, relocate them to a QT tank and treat them with copper in order to get rid of the ICH. Rally in my display tank didn't work. It also really upset my corals. Some of them didn't have any polyp extension for a month after I dosed it. I probably would never try to use Rally in my display tank with corals ever again.... using it in a QT tank would be much better.

"Apply Rally™ PRO once per day for at least 3 days. Longer treatment periods may be required for heavy or persistent infections."

I wouldn't do any water changes until you know it worked.... 3 days may not be enough.

Haven't used Rally in a long time but with any type of medication, yes I would perform a minimum 20% water change, add fresh carbon and turn on the skimmer if you utilize one.
But make sure that the meds have done their job first. If not and your satisfied with the same med then just do the 20% water change without adding carbon and do another round of medication.

Read the reviews on BRS for this product re. In tank treatment. Not sure how common those outcomes are, but worth knowing about before you put it in your tank.

The fish, a sailfin wrasse is in my quarantine tank, I’m leery of treating with coppersafe as a preventative measure and thought the rally ruby would be a safer option
Nothing is wrong with my fish I just want to take precautions before I move it into my display with the other fish

Ah so it would be in a qt tank then. Great. People seem to have issues with RR pro +coral.

Then that's fine.
When your 3rd day is done, change 20% to 25% of the water, add the carbon and observe for an additional few days to make sure it is eating and acting fine.

Hi all, i thinking of start also today with the ruby rally pro treatment in my display ( 2 clowns, and some soft corals). Not because of ich, but my bigger clown seems to have something with his tail. See the pictures, it developed worser after some days. Is there any expert who can tell me if this treatment will be good for this kind of disease? I’m really a beginner when it comes to fish diseases..

I got lucky with mine. I used rally pro and accidentally doubled the does the first day. Today is day 3. Corals are smaller but look good, mushrooms are as small as they can be, but other than shrinking a bit everyone looks great.
