In between my quest to out do my buddy @Brew12 and the "needed persuasion" of my wife to finish the basement...

We are going to put in a 300+ hopefully gallon upstairs (sps, lps, tangs wrasse), 120 or the like display refugium beside (algea softies, angel fish and other lps haters), 120 sump downstairs.

1 x 1.5" emergency Td for both

Well we both went 120 originally, but then he upped his game, so instead of matching I had to escalate.

Following along, love the idea of the display refugium big enough for the less-than-reef-safe fishes. There are so many I’d love to have but can’t...

Basement Reno done, 120 + 50 + 20 refugium upstairs currently.
40 gal QT tank
20 gal coral QT tank

Going to hopefully build the 300+ next year out of plywood.

Maybe I should just start a new thread for all of my tanks haha.
