Ran out of GC

I’ve run into a little dilemma - I have 3 QT tanks set up that I dosed with GC 7 days ago and I forgot to reorder more GC and I do not have enough remaining for the 2nd dose today to cover all the tanks. They all have therapeutic copper running concurrently. I’ve also been dosing metro every 48 hours, one of those dosed being the GC for 11 days. Can I sub prazi pro for the GC? Our LFSs are out of GC. I’m on my way to the 4th store but if I’m not lucky what should I do?

What are you treating for? If flukes then prazipro will work. If bacterial then you need metro in GC. You can dose prazipro and try to get metroplex or another metronidazole and dose concurrently, as always watch for blooms and O2 depletion.

I should add this is prophylactic treatment. No fish are sick. Running a HOB filter and sponge filter in each tank.

So they’ve actually had metro for 10 days. I have that on hand with prazi.
This is just my 30 day quarantine for our new tank setup.

LFS recommends Fritz cleanse. Said APO ran into troubles with the antibiotic?
