So, I was just flipping through different forums and came across some threads asking Whelk or Nassarius? Then the "light bulb" went off...I just picked up a Nassarius at a local LFS yesterday. Didn't give it much thought that it might not be exactly what I asked for . But , when looking at the different threads I thought I might as well be sure. Pretty Sure, it's a whelk ;Bookworm;Bookworm! @KJ ?
Some people say they don't bury into the sand, they do.

These guys are beautiful, but carnivorous, IIRC.
