my niece asked me this, and I couldn't answer..

When you have two identical coral (IE: 2 stag frags from the same colony), and you put them together, will they eventually merge as one, or will they always stay separate? any chances of coral warfare between two same pieces?

How about corals of the same species, but different types? (Two different acros)

and is it possible to have hybrid corals this way? especially with Zoas?

The two corals are genetically identical so they should merge no problem.

There are hybrids of two different colored corals of the same type like red/green caps.
