What are some good Cuc/small inverts or small fish for left over food (mainly pellets or meaty frozen food)/waste off the sand bed? I don't have any algae problems to get rid off, the tangs, UV sterilizer and turbo snails (along with other snails) keep any algae in check. Really i just have left over food and waste that can get caught in some spots where flow isn't great. Was just thinking of what are some critters or fish that would help with that.

Go to reefcleaners.org and order the package for half your tank size

Personally, I have great success with an emerald crab. I run a pretty high nutrient tank, so there is plenty of algae in the display and the emerald crab is never hungry. But it seems to have a preference for pellets that my fish miss. So I feel pretty comfortable that it won't one day go crazy and eat my fish or corals or anything, because it will always have something to eat.

Gobies or other fish that occupy the lowest level of the tank will pick them off.

Hermit crabs, nassarius, will also help

As your sand matures with microfauna diversity, the various worms and pods will also make quick work out of it.

Our scooter blenny and Sleeper gold head goby are definitely not lacking for food lol.

Just to clarify, we aren't experiencing a spike in anything or an emergency.
Just more of a random curiosity question as it's about time to refresh the CuC and that's really the primary concern for us.
I'm hoping to keep from having a bristle worm infestation like our old tank had.

I actually think emerald crabs would run out of algae and compete with the turbo snails.
What algae we do have gets cleared our pretty quick.
