Random Filter Idea

Ok well while sitting here looking at everyone's fancy filtration systems, I got an idea, could a water filter, yes a water filter such as the one seen here... http://www.rosedaleproducts.com/model-basket-strainer-filters-p-1014.html

hopefully we can link over here.. still haven't caught up on all the rules hehehe


I also have access to many other standard filters, was jw if these filters could be drilled/plumbed correctly and work on a fish tank.

It's metal....saltwater and metal is not a good mix.
