Random green glass alge

well woke up to s surprise today, I had a rediculas amount of green alge film on my glass and back wall , cleaned it as usual, with in 1 hour or 2 it was back, cleaned it a 3rd time and it started to come back, did a parameter check

Kinda curious where this came from , I started a vibrant dosing today ..skimmer has its usual merky dark color , checked my apex logs, ph swing was normal 8.0 to 8.3 over night, temp 77.5 to 78.4 this green alge is not on no rocks corals nothing but glass a d little on my sand, anyone encounter this before? Just need some input,

I've never seen algae regrow in an hour or two? What are you testing phosphate with?

Salifert test kit neither have I thats why I wanted to ask, pretty unusual

Maybe get a confirmation on that number. I like salifert but have had terrible luck with their PO4 test.. other than sky high PO4 the only other things I can think of is your source water, maybe silicates slipping by your RO system? Also any potential VOC's in your home that may be contaminating tank? Not a scientist but I believe some can trigger algae explosions from what I have read.

Ok I have tested my RO DI water and its shows 0 and as far as the silicate I haven't checked it stopped showing up but my nitrates bounce between 10 to 20 working on that, tank inhabitants are doing very well and all other levels are pretty consistent
