I've had this guy for a few months now. It's a pinkish anthellia I got from wwc. A couple weeks ago I noticed what looked like what I can only describe as a wart towards the foot. A couple days ago I noticed that a greenish bubble is now coming out of it.. so question 1 is, what is that? And question 2, the pointy finger thing also growing from the base.... the fingers are nothing like the "waving hands" that this coral has, and its pretty reactive. If the cleaner shrimp gets too close it will very quickly retract and close up and then it opens back up again. I have tried Google but I'm at a lose here. Any ideas for either is super helpful!!

I've gotten some small bubble algae on a frag before, what I did is just take the frag out and place it into a small container of saltwater and use a toothpick to knock the bubble algae off.

You guys are amazing! Wondering were the aptasia came from? Should I do anything with it or should I worry about it? It looks neat but that doesn't always mean its good for the tank lol

you should get rid of the aiptasia there’s a few ways to do it but there are natural predators like peppermint shrimp. You can also get an a emerald crab to eat the bubble algae if you’d like
