See and I just said that I sleep. So myth busted! Thank you Barbie!!

Not a problem Loki, happy to help set the story straight. Although wondering about the state od tiredness that I am in to be doing math like that at this time of night  Really need to think about going to bed soon.

A tank that I should start tearing down tommorrow so that I will be that much closer to being ready to setting up my salt

You could always burn the clothes in a fire claim insurance and then get new clothes. But that wouldn't really help. And would be illegal.

Wooooooooooooooooo salt water tanks!! What are you going to do with it? Coral? SPS LPS softies mix FOWLR?

It seems that you should skip the sleep and just get to it. All while keeping reef2reef open and continually updating what you are doing.

Burning the clothes and filing an insurance claim would not work well since a majority of what needs to be washed are my clothes for work which I will need by Thursday

I like mythbusters but it seems the last few seasons have gone downhill. Anyone else?

Going to set the tank up as a FOWLR to start off with, looking into lighting options. Thinking about doing leds as a dyi, still researching all of the information out there on that. Eventually would like to do some corals, thinking LPS and maybe softies. Still lots of research to do on that aspect also. However will be basing my stocking list on eventually making it a reef.

Have caught a few episodes of mythbusters, not having cable makes it a little difficult to catch a lot of the different shows. Should check and see if it available on netflix or hulu.

Yeah it's always a good idea to not get livestock "for now." I have thought about the LEDs but I just can't do it yet. They have too narrow a spectrum. If I was going to do it I would have to have a lot of supporting colors like yellows and reds and greens and purples. Things look great under them but I haven't seen long term what I want to see to make me jump. So I will stick with my ATI blue plus T5's

Need to check and see if season 1 of tank has become available on hulu also, caught some snippets of the show while at work but never able to watch an entire show.

They have DVDs of it I believe. Netflix is what got me started in the office. I watched the first 5-6 seasons in a few weeks. And then the British (or whatever) version.

I am hoping by the time that I am ready to be able to do them budgetwise that there will be more improvements with them. At this point I can't justify buying a fixture that I will be replacing again shortly after. Until than I am using extra t8 fixtures that I have around to provide my lighting needs while I research and save.

love the big bang theory, unfortunatly netflix only has the dvd rental and not the instant streaming, and haven't seen it on hulu. My tv reception is bad only get one local network station, a pbs station and then the ion stations. Not willing to pay the price that they want for cable cheaper to have internet with a subscription to hulu plus and using the boyfriend's netflix account.

after 4 in the morning time to get a few hours of sleep.

T8 will work for fish only. Before you go coral make sure to upgrade lights to anything else. T5, metal halides, camp fire lol. Have a good night!
