Seriously? 95% of all coral and fish comes thru LA through Distributorships. I find it hard to believe you can't find any nice retail with LA being the Distribution Capital of North America

Whatever your researching methods are....look at other ways

I found a few around me but they have no selection at all its crazy. Had to drive about an hour and half out just to get corals. Was just seeing if anyone knew people closer to me that was all haha

Ellis is pretty great. Only been once but I’ve been shopping LA LFS since late 90s. Good corals, healthy, knowledgeable and good prices. I also spend a good bit of time and money at LAX Aquarium

Hmm...is Marine Collectors not in your price range? I know they have a retail store, but it seems the owner really tries to quarantine special orders, as opposed to bringing in random species, which is a plus in my book.

Ellis aquatics definitely look at their fb page they post their inventory frequently and I've heard good things about LAX aquatics
