Experiencing random receding sps tips and base. Everything was going smoothly till about a week ago.

Alk: 7.8
calc: 440
Mg: 1310
35ppt salinity
No3:5-10
Po3: .09
Temp: 77.7

any ideas what could have caused this?
Should I frag the affected pieces?

Whats your flow like and what size tank? Your parameters don’t look bad. Some may say your po4 is on the high side but my tank is running around there with decent color and growth from acros.

Did you dip it? Im thinking something is munching on it or a flow issue. But im not an sps expert. This is assuming those parameters are stable.

Edit: what do you have for lighting.

What all are you dosing?

I bet it’s the nopox and vibrant. An Icp test would be good to rule out a contamination. You should also check your ro/filters.

The only thing I changed was increase my light by 3%. I noticed my par levels were lower than I’d like. Other than that, almost everything is automated

It’s difficult to tell from those pics but those acros look like they’ve been upset for awhile. Stn is very common when using nopox, rowaphos and vibrant etc. Looks like you’ve had Stn issues in some of your previous threads. Maybe it’s time to change your reefing philosophy

Yeah my previous stn issued turned out to be an alk imbalance due to a faulty pump. Other than that the tank has been rather stable for the past few months. I am noticing my amphipod population has gotten way smaller in my refugium.
