random stupid idea

what if I put ammonia in the water and mixed up some salt in it
All i know is that as it comes in the bottle the contents keeps the bacteria dormant and it takes dilution to activate them. And the bottle is not made up of saltwater as far as i know.

So lets say instead of using 100% dr tims you just use an excessive amount in a saltwater tank. From here most of the bacteria would starve and die, cause an amount spike which in turn feeds the remaining bacteria. After lots of die off and population surges it would eventually find an equilibrium and be a cycled tank.

You could crawl inside and die without so much as a filament of algae showing up. ;Wideyedo_O;Doctor;Stinkyfeet

:D:D:D:D (obviously joking - don't crawl inside your tank)

The thing is, unless that stuff is 99% saltwater, you aren't going to have a saltwater tank any more than if you dumped a bunch of milk in a tank and put rocks in it.

(Well, maybe a /little/ more.)
