I'm getting an alert randomly - usually 1 time per day. Time seems random - has happened middle of the night as well as middle of the day / afternoon.

The alert will show temp on the probe connected to the expansion box shows an extremely high temp - the temp is not the same each time but it's always over 120F.

First time it happened I panic'd, jumped out of bed and slowly tested the water in that tank (tentatively put my finger in the tank - it was 1:48 AM) and the temp was fine.

Logged into MyGHL and the temp showed normal (77F). Went to bed and hoped it was a one time thing.

It's happened at least 2 more times now.

Anyone else see odd behavior like this?

Yea, that would make me Jump out of bed too!.. EEK
yep - I had been monkeying with the tank the previous evening and had sipped on a couple beers so naturally my first thought as I sprang out of bed was "how did I manage to leave a heater on all the time and can my heaters really heat the water from 77 to over 120?"

This is a known issue a few others are experiencing. We've reported to the GHL Forum and I've created my own ticket as well.

Since 11/29 they have been "examining on a test setup"

I've asked for updates on their forum, but no update since then. I'd really like this resolved so I can turn my alarm back on.

My power bar needed to be power cycled today too. Has never happened before but everything plugged into it just shut off. MyGHL claimed a "communication error" - but I was able to see everything and all "looked" just fine from the web interface.

Power cycled the expansion box, no change - power cycled the power bar and all has been well since. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.
