I am baking bake soda sodium bicarbonate in a oven at 300 degrees for one hour, to make a alk solution for dosing. The question I have, I used a box and a half around 700 grams of baking soda, is this ok, or does there have to be a certained measured amount? Also should I bake longer than one hour, thanks?

I read that, but I already have it in a oven baking. I had a new box of 454 grams and another opened box I added to it. Will this cause problems?

Will just make your concentrate stronger. Test and adjust as needed.

When I was baking it, I never weighed it, just measured it out, and there was always some left on the baking sheet. My mixes were never consistent from batch to batch, so I would just test and adjust as needed.

I have since stopped baking it, weighing it out, and using recipe 2 with much more consistent results.

So baked baking soda id aka as soda ash and that helps boost ph, what boost alkalinity ?

BRS 2 parts alk component is soda ash. It is good quality and relatively cheap. Been using that for a long time.
